What a day at Pet Lodge Yannathan Park looks like;
Starting bright and early, a approximately 7:30am every dog gets to go out into their individual yards for a good stretch and potty break, whilst the staff give the kennel a good clean. They’re out for about an hour before they come back in for their morning breaky and meds or supplements as required. You can chose to bring your own food (Add cost) or we supply our premium dog food LifeWise, they will then have a rest period to settle their stomach.
The staff then turn their attention to the kitty cats. The cattery has a big clean each morning, with fresh litter, fresh water and our premium dry food LifeWise for them to graze on throughout the day. A variety of wet food is offered for those fussy eaters. You are welcome to bring in their own food if necessary.
Blankets and pillows are fluffed up with cuddles and kisses given.
Now the dogs stomachs have settled after breakfast they return to their individual outside runs to play or just relax in the sun. Staff then carry out all extra activities, including enrichment sessions such as one on one plays.
The dogs spend most of their day outside breathing in the fresh country air and getting their exercise. Later in the day the staff walk all the dogs back into a freshly cleaned kennel. Evening meals, supplements and meds are given as required and those that are not having an evening meal will get to enjoy a bed time treat. Our dedicated staff wish all the puppies a good night as they settle down to sleep on their raised beds and soft fluffy blanket to the gentle sound of music giving them a homely feel.
Lastly, we go and check on all the cats giving them each a cuddle, ensuring they still have water, food and fresh kitty litter, turning on the heater if we are expecting a chilly night, shut down the cattery and we’re off for the day!
There is always somebody on site 24/7 to keep an eye on all the fur babies and administer any after hour medications if needed. We do a nightly check to confirm they are all sleeping soundly after they have their bed time treat.
